There is that scene in Field of Dreams, were Kevin Costner meets Burt Lancaster for the first time. Lancaster's character always walks with an umbrella, because it is an old habit. I'm pretty much at the point, were I can't walk out the door without a book in my hand. It is a habit now ha.

Oh, I sure meant not to disparage such a fine work of art and music!

Similar childhood, but it took 52 years and a @beergoot to enlighten me on this one.

    Cheers fellas!

Oh yeah, Burl is a great addition to the line-up, one of if not their best hazy DIPA. For sure. Cheers!

A'ight, scaling up for the last one today.

Did one of my last lactate threshold (3 x 10') block workouts today, with another 50' going up 15% grade on a goddamn treadmill. I can almost smell the barn...

    FFF Interstellar Bonanza. DIPA. 9%
Tough to pick on tunes, so I thought I'd go absolutely ridiculous.

    Let's get stupid. Cheers!

Oh, I only new about it in the late 80's and early 90's. I was a big fan of the Star Trek movies of the time, with the original cast. My parents told me about the Shatner vocal albums, and then I saw that Nimoy song on PBS or something ha. I had just read The Hobbit for the first time, and was hooked.

Then there is this beauty with the Star Trek cast on Futurama (legit one of my favorite sci-fi shows ever, both shows).

What I really regret is the picture ... out on the patio I actually have a flower pot with scarlet begonias in it ...... and didn't put that together before I posted the pic :sob::sob:

I’ve been drinking a lot of notch beers lately and they live up to their reputation. One of the only breweries that will ship direct to Maryland.

Sir, while I appreciate the encouragement, I should not oblige this request.

Yes, I bought more today despite yesterday's case. Yes, that's 'problematic'!

    Cheers!

@beergoot @champ103 @epcos @SABERG @TCgenny - this is one hell of a concert. Lee Ritenour was a big influence on me, he's a much better player, but you can definitely hear his influence in my playing - at least I think so. Lee is tearing it up as only he can do, and Dave Grusin is excellent as always. But really a great show, I recommend you check it out - Cheers!!!

Nice vocal from Tatiana Parra too.

I mean, you are a pretty damn good guitar player...don't sell yourself short. I definitely hear the Lee Retinour influence for sure.
