We just rec'd two new-to-Vermont offerings from TB yesterday.

16 ounce can with no date, which was distributed in Vermont this week.

Vigorous pour yields a one inch white head (gone in seconds) over a murky golden body with no lacing whatsoever.

Nose of slight sweet citrus and even slighter tropical fruit.

Taste is mostly fresh squeezed orange juice and slight tropical fruit with a sweet citrus pith bitterness on the finish.

Feel is on the watery side with low carbonation.

Overall, tastes good, but looks like shit and feels subpar for this brewery.

Erdinger Weissbräu Oktoberfest Weissbier (5.7%): A German Festbier with flavors of German yeast, bread malts, some fruity and German spices.

Picked up a 4-pack of these. Previous reviews I've noticed that this has a distinct German yeast flavor. Still has it. Its a light, fruity yeast flavor with some German spices. It sort of has notes of a Kolsch or a Hefeweizen in terms of yeast flavor. Somewhat different than other festbiers. Different. I'm not sure I'll pick this up again, but enjoyed trying it.
