What beer are you drinking now? #4341

Not as good as the hefe or the dunkel, but ok, if a bit chalky.

 

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before here, but my favorite NFL team since I was a kid is the Cowboys. Drinking tonight in the hotel room and totally enjoying the game…got a new to me mix 12/pk this evening - SN’s “Dank Little Thing”:



I can’t find anything “dank” about this beer…Cheers y’all!

Sorry for the lack of engagement on here lately I have not had a beer in ten days because I have gotten my ass back to the gym and have been cleaning up my diet. My reasoning is to fit on rollercoasters and water slides better. I can fit on most now but I need to get back into shape. Also this will be my first bad meal in ten days for the start of NFL season tacos and nachos for the prime time game. BEAR DOWN! Cheers!

 

I added this beer on Thursday as a German Pilsner, but it's a Helles.

16 ounce can packaged 05/22/24.

Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch white head over a bright golden body with some lacing.

Nose of hay, slight cracker, ever so slight sweetness with a dash of hops.

Taste is a bit bready with some sweetness and hop bitterness. Nicely crisp at the finish.

Mouthfeel is good with medium carbonation.

Overall, easy drinking, crushable, and enjoying thoroughly!

Fidens is on par with TH quality and taste wise. The only issue is that they don’t have the variety that Treehouse does.

Couldn’t find Paulaner at the place I stopped at. Feels weird drinking this from cans. Tastes maltier and heavier to me. Maybe it’s because it was canned almost 6 months ago?? Can’t believe that lol.

They’re literally 35 minutes away from me, and that’s a good description - they do a lot of stuff REALLY well. I’ve sent their beers to BA’s from coast to coast.

 

Yes, but I’ve never really seen B&B, I was more of a Ren and Stimpy kind of guy.

 

Oh, I’ll keep that in mind. I have one regular BA trader that is a Transient member so we do a couple trades a year. Doesn’t hurt to diversify! Shame Maker is a winner. The Buckley Reserve #2 2022 I drank today was a winner. So many winners.
