Oh, Sunday Night Football. In my line of work (until 12/01/24 maybe), SNF is Skilled Nursing Facility. Nobody wants to watch that. They need to be watched, because they’re mostly horrible…

Alright, couldn't finish the last one as it got a bit too fruity. Now drinking Adjust for Altitude from Bottle Logic. This bottle is from 2020 (as was the last one). This was a great stout when it was released. Unfortunately, it hasn't survived very well over the past 4 years. Still OK, but not great. Cheers!

I’m not much into rap, and I’m not sure that is the right genre, but I like the music. Reminds me of Jay Z and Swiss Beats On to the next one.

That's a good looking grilled cheese!!! I had one for lunch with a bowl of Rao's Tomato Basil soup, perfect match. Soup is a little pricey but it's really quite good - the basil makes it.

I found Fremont stouts to be like that: fresh was best, one or two years workable, but four+ and it’s a distant memory of its prime.

16 ounce can less than a month old.

Vigorous pour yields a two inch white head over a hazy golden body with sticky lacing.

Nose of sweet citrus and tropical fruit with floral attributes coming out as well.

Taste is juicy with orange, tangerine, lemon, and tropical fruit.
Finish is slight citrus pith bitterness with a bit of peach pit.

Mouthfeel is a bit soft with medium carbonation.

Overall, this should satisfy the juicy boys among us.
Quite delicious and would recommend to all!

    Cheers!!

    C&P from NBW #216.

Totally agree. I've experienced the same with Fremont. Bourbon County might have been the best BA stout that ages well. I remember 7-8 year old bottles tasting great.
