1) Drekker Thrills That Kill (6.0% canned 7/9/24): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Nectaron Cryo, Alora, and HBC 586 for flavors of grapefruit, guava, lime, and yuzu
versus
2) Drekker Eager Eyes (6.6% canned 8/19/24): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Nectaron Cryo, Nelson Cryo, HBC 586, and Citra for flavors of orange citrus, passionfruit, pineapple, guava, vinous grape, and mango. Clean.

Winner: Drekker Eager Eyes
Drekker IPA Battle. First is Thrills That Kill. Some interesting hop combinations of Nectaron, with also some unique flavors from Alora and HBC 586. Grapefruit, guava, lime, and yuzu, yet clean.
Next is Drekker Eager Eyes. Lots of New Zealand flavors here. Tropical, yet still clean. A bit larger, and the New Zealand flavors are spot on here. A couple of great Drekker IPAs.

I can't be called an expert by any means but I loved the Pot Still (recommended by our taxi driver on the way to town from the airport) for its atmosphere, beers that I had never heard of, and insane whiskey selection.

 

I like that one as well. It's the first place that comes to mind when I think "whisky" and "Glasgow."

 

Will be pairing this 14% beast with a good stick.

Nothing goes together like a Czech-style Pilsner from NH and some Rasta metal.

 

I have not had Zombie Dust in quite awhile and of course still enjoyable!

It's a pretty decent beer, but a little bit too sweet for my taste. I kept getting lactose from it but I couldn't find anything that says it has lactose in it. I like a porter with a bit drier finish. Cheers!
