From a 16oz can. There's a date on the can, but it's cut off.
This beer looks slightly murky and hazy. Somewhat lemon colored. There's a 3 finger white head that is fluffy looking. Great head retention, and some great lacing on the glass.
Aroma is slightly tropical citrus. I get some mango and pineapple.
Taste - Has tropical citrus notes. I get a good hit of pineapple in here. There's a faint mango hit. There's a faint hint of dank on the backside. Some bitterness hits on the back.
The body is somewhat soft feeling. There's a bit of bubbly character to this beer. Somewhat sticky and clingy feeling.
    Not bad at all.

...got a hot date lined up with Mrs. BeerGoot on October 01st...a 14-piece Zappa tribute band playing at a small club venue in town - The Stinkfoot Orchestra featuring Napolean Murphy Brock (and, it appears, Ray White and Ike Willis)...should be good with six horns and four singers plus the usual band retinue lineup...

Which brings the question, does the pretzel bier pair well with the soft pretzels?

I feel I have told this story before, but I became huge fans of both Curtis Fuller and Phil Woods in high school. Our jazz band played in a completion at University of Louisville. The winner got to play with two "legends" in a special concert at the end, which was us ha. We thought it was going to be well respected music professors or something. Then out comes the guy that played with John Coltrane, and the guy that played on some Paul Simon albums...and our jaws dropped ha. They took the band out to dinner after and it was awesome. I was of course familiar with Fuller from Blue Train, and had unknowingly at the time listened to a bunch of songs Phil Woods was on. And I have been obsessed with them ever since

Second shot is a short one with a Jai Alai. UPS just dropped off a box that just may show up on the beer haul thread a bit later.

A dreary day in Northern Indiana calls for some hops to brighten the evening. Hop Butcher is an excellent choice to scratch that itch, IMHO. This APA is loaded with juicy mango and tangerine flavors, with a bit of crackery malt for balance. Absolutely love it.
