Nice haul. Lawsons has to get with the times and get rid of those plastic can holders.

More hops from Hop Butcher today, this hazy has loads of peach, nectarines, ripe blueberries, and pineapple. This is most excellent, IMHO.

No sir it doesn't. Perhaps I was spoiled when I once lived close to the brewery and could purchase fresh bottles from the same day? Before moving six years ago I could literally taste a shift in the hop profile after a week. It was a nostalgic purchase when I saw it at King Soopers. Still good but more of an alternative to drinking a macro lager from the can for me these days and I did adjust my rating. Perhaps I've been spoiled with too many super fresh locals out here? Cheers! :beers:

The 4 pack of Lawson's Freestyle I bought had the standard plastic can holders that most 16 oz beers have these days.

    Speaking of Lawsons...
It def has a huge passionfruit nose followed ripe melon. Pils malts it's seems. I like it. Def has that high drinkability WC style. Refreshing and has a dry finish. Plus it's 2 weeks old so that helps. Cheers!
Freestyle IPA. Post image isn't working so no pic. Don't feel like waiting for it.

I was able to pick up ZD a couple of times at the kiosk on the day it was bottled and went for $10/6er.

THAT was an amazing beer. Now it’s a shelfie all over Northern Indiana. Still worthy of a try if you can find it within 2 weeks of the package date, but not anywhere close to what it was a decade ago, IMHO.

Postimages does not appear to be cooperating tonight so using alternatives. Trillium Fort Point pale ale and a nice little spliff to get mellow.

Letting the fire die down. Epically calm evening at the pit for a change.

I'll have to keep enjoying some more fresh Pilsners tho!

So either I'm not crazy or we both are?:crazy_face: We never did get a chance to meet up back there when you moved to IN. Perhaps next summer? Cheers! :beers:

Nah, I get it. If you're used to a beer a certain way, in a certain time, nostalgia, memory and palate shift are real things. Respect to you and @ovaltine. for myself, I used to think Daisy Cutter pre-2016'ish was waaayyy different than what came after. DC still doesn't hit me the way it used to, so I get it. Cheers!

Try this in place of Postimages - pretty easy to use. After uploading, click on Viewer links and select BBCODE fully linked, then copy the link.
