No bottled date. Beer may be old. Poured at 57°. Sweet. Tons of chunky yeast floaties. Not a fan.

Kettlehead Sidetrail X2 8.3% a collaboration with Trillium on draft at the source. Pours a very attractive yellow with a half finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with solid retention. 4.5

Aroma is peach, pineapple, tangerine, papaya, and apricot. 4.5

Taste follows papaya, peach, pineapple, tangerine, and apricot. 4.5

Mouthfeel is above average, not sticky or dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 8.3% big bold flavor but extremely approachable. 4.5

Overall I am really digging this sauce. A very nice NEDIPA that should please all. 4.5

 

My golf course is doing a winter seeding and play is cart path only, making it difficult for two guys in my foursome (hip and back problems). Hoping for positive results; there's a lot of bare dirt out there. I'm drinking La Puntita IPA from 377 Brewery.
