    Same great looks. Much better aroma; citrus and pine notes with a soft malt graininess. Much more west coast pale ale flavor; balanced malt and hop bitterness; like the smell, light malt grain with a pine-like quality. Good mouthfeel; soft yet featuring an nice pale ale coarseness with a touch of dryness.

    So, this is the same beer and likely from the same batch, but this tasting steps up the game compared to my original experience. World class? No, but certainly solid and quite crushable.

    Light yellow body, clear; decent carbonation; incredibly thick and lasting white head, dense, rocky, lightly creamy and sticky. Soft grassy and herbal scents with brief notes of floral and tropical fruit qualities. Clean taste; very mild esters; delicate citrus notes, grapefruit and tangelo; seems a tad watery. Medium body; crisp; semi-juicy overall

    This is a great looking beer but comes across rather flat and watery. There is no discernible canning date info. Still, an easy drinker and a fair thirst quencher.

    ABV: 5.5%; pouring temperature: 42 °F; canning info: blank on label, nothing on the can

    1) Revolution Oktoberfest (5.7%):     An Oktoberfest Märzen from Chicago with flavors of smooth bread, caramel, brown sugar. Leans sweet.
    versus
    2) Millstream Oktoberfest (6.2%): A Märzen from Iowa with flavors of sweet bready, toasted bread, floral hops, and mildly sweet. Toasted and balanced. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

    Oktoberfest Marzen Battle. First is from Revolution in Chicago. A fun brewery to visit in Chicago. Their Oktoberfest has always been top notch. This year is no different. Smooth caramel, bread, and slightly sweet with tons of flavor. Excellent.
    Next is Millstream. Just down the road in Iowa. This one drinks similar. Slightly more bread and toasted notes. Slightly drier as well. More toasted and flavors overall. This is an outstanding Oktoberfest.
    Winner: Millstream Oktoberfest
