    12th and final different beer from Shiner's "Home for the Holidays" mixed pack. Last for a reason, I was afraid it'd be too sweet. Pleasantly surprised, I get the chocolate, marshmallows and even a touch of graham cracker. A touch sweet but totally drinkable. Overall, this 12 pack was a joy.

    Thanks, Tom! Yeah, it was pretty sad to hear about 399 :cry:

    We do get some bear action around here (in fact, we have resident black bear that likes to hang out about a 1/4 mile down the road :smile:)

    I couldn't hold out until 6pm. Baby Elliot doesn't mind though. Hopefully his parents would feel the same. From stonecloud in OKC: Double IPA dry hopped with strata fresh hops. 7% Pretty darn good... for a hazy.

    1) Lupulin Oktoberfest (5.7%): An Oktoberfest Märzen from Minnesota with flavors of smooth bread, caramel, amber notes.
    versus
    2) Millstream Oktoberfest (6.2%): A Märzen from Iowa with flavors of sweet bready, toasted bread, floral hops, and mildly sweet. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner: Lupulin
    Oktoberfest Marzen Battle. First is Lupulin. One of my favorite Marzens of the season.
    Next is Millstream. Strong flavors, a bit sweet and shows the alcohol a bit.
    Lupulin is always a top tier Marzen in my books.
