Pass Me the Heater. NA California IPA from Mash Gang.
Awesome nice bitter taste. Mash Gang is the only NA that can give you palate fatigue (and easily too) as far as I know.

Been enjoying this Firestone DIPA over the last month but prefer the WCIPA Union Jack which i have not seen reasonably fresh since moving to the region almost 4 years ago. Enjoying more Rock Bar at the VB.

If you like porters, the Equilibrium Mobius is quite nice. Really great mouthfeel - creamy and full. Notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, vanilla - but it avoids being sweet which is one reason I like it.

I don't know if anyone else uses Firefox, but the latest version has this ANNOYING sidebar now and there's no obvious way to get rid of it. What you need to do is go to about:config and then ignore the stupid warning:



Next, type sidebar.revamp which will be set to True - double click it and it should change to False and the sidebar will be gone.

I hate it when they make assinine changes like this.

 

Some porters can hit that palate happy place, and i really dig brews with that creaminess. I believe we get occasional drops of Equilibrium in WNC but if not Da Boss and i are heading up to the Poconos and the Berkshires next September for a couple of timeshare weeks so will need to try to find some...hopefully we can avoid an aftermath hurricane like we experienced with Floyd in 1999 while in the Poconos.
