Agree Mike, I would love for 6-8 BA's, that are a lot smarter than me to sit down with their CEO or COO and talk about beer and aging. But 98% of beer drinkers don't care like we do....cheers!!

probably too much info but the original location has been a round for over 30 years. I’ve been coming since I was high school and I’m 46. Due to declining business and increased rent they had to close down. A local tap house business owner who grow up in the area bought the business. They kept the pizza as is but modernized the inside and added 24 tap handles. The pizza is just as good, but better beer. I do miss the more cozy old school decor but that might just be nostalgia.

 

great pizza. Dough and sauce are perfect. Plus, some crispy greasy pepperoni.

 

Hops by the fireplace? Sounds terrible.

I think winter temps are now hitting Richmond. Tomorrow’s high, and for the next several days, is only in the 40’s. But forecasts can be wrong?

 

Yeah this one is worth picking up along with the regular BCBS - this one tasted like liquid creme brulee and only later gave off some grainy rye molasses notes.

That's a happy ending there.... I remember a few Italian deli's in FL in the 70's that made 30-40 Italian subs daily, wrapped up in deli paper and were like $2.75 each. I'll never forget them and never get that exact taste again.....enjoy!!!
