Bucks have taken control of the game. Playing hard for that bonus money.

Apparently continuing the 2023 barrel aged journey from Founders. Next up is French Toast Bastard. I remember this being too heavy on the syrup fresh. Drinking way better now that the syrup has mellowed a little bit. Like putting a piece of french toast in your mouth. Have 1 more left downstairs that I'll let sit for another year which might do this beer even better. Wish I had another to let ride a bit longer too.

Keb' fan here also. Saw him in 1996 @ the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival in Davenport, IA. They had a bandstand stage and a tent stage back then. Keb' was solo acoustic in the tent. Great set! Was able to get him to sign my fest poster. Cheers!

That may be the pairing of the year! Hot Dog Soup and Surly Darkness. Bravo! Brings me back to my youth when my mom would make us 6 kids beanies and weenies. Dad ate something else. I loved it. I would smother mine with Heinz Ketchup. Because, just like the Frank's commercial, I put that s**t on everything back then. Cheers!

Thank you. This is a soup from the Antoinette Pope Cookbook (from the late 60’s): hot dogs, lentils, bacon, onion, celery, tomato sauce, water. Simple but freaking tasty! Cheers back at you!

Ohhh. I don’t recall a 2023 CBS, but then again, my brain has sort of put Founder’s into a zone of abandon. Once Mahou San Miguel had majority ownership, their BA series just seemed derivative of their former glory. Cheers!

I’m drinking a second Stone Old Guardian…probably a bad idea because one of these always seems to hit bigger than 16 oz of 11%, but here I go!

It appears we will probably be in a house rental for at least two weeks while our floors are being replaced. Not looking forward to that at all.

Agreed. I find it like a leaner version of Samichlaus in flavor and mouthfeel, but a much bigger form factor for maximum whupow!

I will softly applaud that like a golfing gallery at The Masters. That looks really good.

Dude, you are blowing my mind. There was a 2023 French Toast Bastard? LOL! I don’t recall that around here, which is either because the “big” craft store didn’t get it or my brain really is dog crap at this point!

Pay me no mind. I am beat from scraping mineral efflorescence and old decayed DryLok from cellar walls day three now, with Killz priming and painting after. The perk of being unemployed is that I have time for those lagged home improvement projects.

Was going to the hot tub, is not feasible, pouring down, we need it. Plus, now I am into this Yellowstone Finale
