    Agree 100 from the aals you posted from the sand and surf. We got a half white/half green Christmas in Michigan this year. The only people enjoying that are Michigan State fans.:stuck_out_tongue::wink: I am enjoying your posts. :beers:

    1) Bent Paddle False Hibernation (5.2%): A Czech Dark Lager from Minnesota with flavors of black malt, bread, coffee roast, cocoa, and dark fruit. Dry, clean and smooth.
    versus
    2) Little Thistle Mist & Shadow (4.5%): A Czech Dark Lager from Minnesota with flavors of dark graine, earthy, and roast. Clean and dry. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

    Christmas Czech Dark Lager Battle. First is Bent Paddle False Hibernation. Really good stuff, slightly earthy. Excellent.
    Next is Little Thistle Mist & Shadow. Dark, soft, and clean. Excellent flavors balanced by incredibly smooth drinkability which is what makes this Czech style. Outstanding from Little Thistle.
    Winner: Little Thistle Mist & Shadow
