Big weekend coming up for NFL action. Tons of playoff spots yet to be determined. Hoping my Lions take care of business on SNF.

Went to the depths of the basement to find the oldest Expedition Stout. Came out with this bottled on 8/31/16. About an inch of head and still a fabulous beer. I prefer this between 5-8 years but this is still holding strong. Very strong roasty flavor still - hops have died long ago - now it is a nice roasty chocolate sipper. Double thumbs up for the aging on this one.

Cheers to the weekend, BAs! My annual physical exam is later this month and I'm feeling rather bloated so I'm beginning a mini-dry-January to shed a few pounds. But I wanted to try Carton's new "Irregular" Coffee release, Cafe Recipe Contest. It's intended to simulate pineapple upside down cake. While not my favorite "Irregular" Coffee variant, it's still a tasty treat. See youse guys in 2 weeks!

 

Radeberger is a great German Pilsner. Hard to find fresh. So good. Howard Stern had some great artist come thru the studio with entertaining talk.
