I do see this as another fun way to discuss a particular beer as a supplement to a thread; or a one-off

 

You cooked that perfectly for the leanest of venison cuts. I might personally go a little rarer

At this point I remembered I had a couple N/A beers in the fridge, so the party goes on.

 

Paid no real attention. Worthy food/beer ****! On all levels. Did you put much seasoning on the Venison? I usually like a little garlic & salt for starters

 

I get all that, It will be, does it matter who ships if it's air tight?

Very local, that's what I think asking @jzeilinger was a great idea. Now the distant end is more important if there is some prime local intel. UPS when I lived in CO Springs & was shipping beer from 07 to late 08. I had horrible luck receiving & sending . To be fair; I am sure I learned a few lessons the hard way. Also, I think protection from external trauma is most important. Might be a perfectly packed box, but if put at the bottom of the pallet, the sheer weight can burst the box. Something I really should've learned at my Aircraft Commander & Hazardous Cargo courses I attended at Eglin AFB in 87.

 

I used a maple glaze marinade (garlic, bourbon barrel aged maple syrup, olive oil, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper).

 

Thanks! Seared in pan about 2 min each side…then roasted in oven for about 15 min. Any rarer and the wife would’ve refused LOL

 

@Bhubbard34 who would you choose brown or purple?

 

I only use ups or usps. If you’re going to be shipping a lot I recommend creating an acct with pirate ship to print and pay for labels at home. Will save you tons! Only wish I had signed up sooner

That sounds great. Used something close on my Lamb Ribs I smoked on Christmas Day ( minus the Maple )
