    Pours a clear, soft yellow hue; coarse and sparse carbonation; thick head, sudsy and frothy with fat globs of foam sticking to the glass. Dull, earthy sweetness infused with a woody and grassy herbal tone. Malty flavor with a zesty, herbal taste; sage. Medium bodied; smooth and velvety residual sugars slip over the palate.

    The looks and smell may be slightly rough, but the taste and mouthfeel are fabulous.

    Have a good Thursday. Got a new phone case to replace the battered one, and the phone is still in near perfect condition. I microwaved my leftover Carnitas bowl with corn salsa, pinto beans, chese, sour cream, lettuce, fajita veg, and a scoop of hot sauce. I think I will ask for a half scoop of hot sauce next time, my enjoyment speed vs water intake needs ratio is not optimal. Feels like too much work, but I do love a good sweat now and again. Microwaved on 60%, 2 sets of 4 minutes, and stirred it to even temperature using a probe thermometer hahaha

    After searching through some totes I kept finding more old stouts. Griffin Claw 2019 Flying Buffalo BA Modern Times Coffee. This is perfectly smooth now! No boozy barrel tannins at all, pure silk, rich dark chocolate fudge, nutty coffee, and berries. More molasses/dark fruit notes after aged over 5 years. No cloying/acrid notes. Lingering alcohol of 12% after the finish. 10/22/19 date.

    We actually live at the base of those mountains (I can see that barn out of my shop window, funny enough). Sometimes rain, but mostly snow on this side :smile:
