Schneider Aventinus Eisbock, it's been far too long since I had one of these.

 

1) Toppling Goliath Fire, Skulls, & Money (7.8% canned 11/7/2024): A NEIPA from Iowa with Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, and Nelson for flavors of grapefruit and orange citrus flower, vinous white grape, gooseberry with some pine and berry to balance. Juicy, complex, and clean
versus
2) Phase Three Snow Pants (7.9% no canning date): A NEIPA from Chicago with Meridian, Moteure, Mosaic for flavors of sweet and tropical berries and dank pine. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Toppling Goliath vs. Phase Three NEIPA Battle. First is Toppling Goliath FS&M, the GOAT. I bought so many of these when it was released so sorry have to keep drinking and posting them. But I'm still enjoying it. It's past 3 months and still fantastic.
Next is Phase Three. Snow Pants. Interseting hop combo with the Meridian to give it a dank pine and minty note. Plus the Mosaic for tropical flavors. Moteure rounds them out. Outstanding NEIPA from Phase Three as always.
Winner: Toppling Goliath Fire, Skulls, & Money

Enjoying this year-round available classic. Had the canned cocktail that somebody left in the downstairs fridge last poker night. Didn't post it solo because it's not beer. Was decent though.

Back at it here ba. Hanse, keller pils, schilling. Crisp and refreshing with decent floral hops. Nice notes of grains and sourdough. 12/31/24,

 

3 Sheeps Gnarly (6.7% canned 10/30/24): A West-Coast IPA from Wisconsin with Trident, Cashmere, and El Dorado hops for flavors of orange, tangerine, dank pine and red stonefruit. Smooth and leans malty.

A West-Coast IPA from 3 Sheeps. I'll always pick up their beers. Always top notch quality and great hosts at the BeerAdvocate Sheboygan event this past year.
This is a newer West-Coast IPA from them. Nice hop combo. Some dank pine. Leans malty, but the bitterness creeps up as I let this sit. It's a bit older than I'd like to have found it, but caught it, conditioned it, and still drinking well. Leans malty, and a nice and authentic West-Coast style IPA from 3 Sheeps.

@ChicagoJ The Stash can be dangerous. I know the struggle. Much easier to grow than get rid of. There's not a better month than February to save the wallet, showcase some great beers in WBAYDN, and thin the heard.

Great post. This is one of my favorite imperial stouts. Amazingly complex and affordable price. Haven't seen it at all around here this year which I find odd.
