    I have no dog in the fight since LA was without a football team for so long, I don’t really care for the sport. More so, people don’t care about the Rams or Chargers either. The Raiders are still the most popular team in the LA Market. I must also mention that I am confused on why the sport is called football. It’s not just because of the fact that rarely is the foot used, what perplexes me most is the simple fact that the world’s most popular sport was already called football. Gridiron would have been a great and badass name. But Raul digresses with this awesome Moonlight Boney Fingers Black Lager. May your wings be flavorful and your beer(s) tasty! Cheers!

    Looks like another dreary day coming - last night we got another inch of snow but the freezing rain missed us. And "Noir Alley" is on hiatus while TCM runs oscar-patting-on-the-back dreck. At least I've got my own collection so I can enjoy noir daily!

    Today's New Breakfast Beer (Multi-cross post with NBW and Cellaruary):

    Final impression and summation: 4 Distinctly lacks the hoppiness of American style Barleywines – smooth, sweet, and easy drinking. The barrels fail to make an appearance. No oxidation despite the age. At the final temperature, a wee bit of bitterness creeps in, possibly some barrel tannin. But I still feel the need for some insulin.

    I definitely prefer regular programming on TCM over Oscar month. Damn, didn’t know you liked film noir. “Out of the Past” and “The Asphalt Jungle” are probably my two favorite. Robert Mitchum and Sterling Hayden can do no wrong! RIP Robert Osborn.
