Anyone else think the whole “Horchata recipe” element of the weekend double barrels is kind of odd? So, like the Vibes recipe with the cinnamon and vanilla treatment went into the barrels..?

I assumed it was just the stout recipe for Horchata, and not actually additions of cinnamon and vanilla. That would be a real shame if that was the case…

But isn’t the Horchata recipe the Vibes recipe? I would have to check the email again. I was thinking it was Vibes finished on cinnamon and vanilla.

The double barrel Gen is a real stinger if that one isn’t offered.

The lack of lines and high limits hurt extra considering my proxy isn’t available lol. But hey, maybe secondary/trade value will be lower?

I am fake outraged that none of these are offered to LC. I would have been the first to post for RR15 on FB if it had been. And I wouldn’t have been willing to go lower than W12. But I guess if it didn’t close I would prob be ok with Blantons or maybe ER.

It has no adjuncts. It’s a different recipe and it’s fantastic on its own, imo

I should've traded away With Brad for BBT '19 when I had a chance. It'd mark the first time I ever traded away a bottle I didn't try myself (I traded away For Phil, but tried it on site before I decided to list it.)

All of the Stout Week bottles I'd genuinely like to try. I am pleased that we got the rye bottle at least.

It really makes me wonder what the LC membership count is currently and how many people are attending SP events.

I fully expect to be offered nothing of the remainder of the new offerings this week. Combined with Cellar Anniversary week, that would be an entire one bottle out of 12 new releases. Several of which were offered multiple days to-go at more than 1 bottle limits. I love Side Project, I am likely going to renew my membership; however, I'm a touch bothered by the fact I would have had to take nearly two weeks off of work to make sure I got a single bottle of each new release. On one hand I tell myself "it's just beer", but on the other hand I know I love their product.

Long story short, I am just disappointed.

Yea, I had a thought about the Double Rye, Double Vanilla being public 2 to LC 1, and then more available today, but no clue what each of those numbers are. But, also, limits don't matter (and never have) at SP unless there is a line and that line sells out. Otherwise, you could always loop - not like they check your license (a la HF). Unless something changed.

Although at the given price of $50/375ml, hard to imagine too many people buying more than 2-4 total unless it's one of the best beers they have produced.

He's just happy it's in 375mls so his hands don't look too small holding one.

That’s the confusing part, not sure if it was a recipe on its on before receiving treatments, or what it’s called after treatments
