Yes I just checked and you are correct. It’s vibes with vanilla and cinnamon

Less crowded than yesterday now. Open seats, even.

So I guess that sounds like it confirms that the beer does have vanilla and cinnamon additives? Bummer if so. Would think you’d want non-adjunct to showcase the difference the barrel makes? Weird.

Agree with everything here, potentially minus the renewing part. Generally speaking, brewery club members are big supporters and fans and you expect to get a shot at least when stuff comes out. And between the cellar anniversary and this (I know the week is far from over), it is clearly not a matter of there not being enough to go around. Allowing 4pp at the cellar and offering 0 to LC feels pretty deliberate.

If this week ends and we only have the first DBD, I see no reason to renew. We’ve been given very little reason to this year! I really enjoy the white labels that are included and the LC merch and things are nice, but when all the biggest and best things aren’t even offered, why bother with a membership that has gotten even more expensive than it was in the past?

For locals, the Sunday discount is worth it. I think I've recouped my membership cost in stacking discounts on cases of Maplewood's Best and Content Moderator alone.

Fair point, if you can regularly and reliably make it to the brewery that is a big plus.

This really is the main perk. I do wish they make the discount full time and not Sunday’s only. My boiler and dimensional memberships are any time you visit. Not that I actually visit them but it’d be a nice perk lol.

There is a new, non adjunct recipe call Horchata. That I am sure of.

Yes but there is also a base recipe with no adjuncts called “Horchata”.

The fact SP is willing to sell a beer at 3pp to public and not offer any at all to LC, should be enough to convince anyone to not renew. Anyone who renews must just love the abuse. The part that makes this more infuriating is that DBD Artifact is already on MBC.

Has anyone gotten feedback from SP as to why the LC's aren't getting access to these online?

Side note: it does seem that the in person sales offerings have gotten good. When I went to stout week two years ago the only in person sales was the Van Winkle BBT for $60/1pp. We were excited as could be for that.

Did LC get access to the VWBBT?

    LC got VWBBT.

The only feedback anybody will get is that LC is not guaranteed every bottle.

"We value you and your support so much." LMAO

Not giving members exclusive bottles that you give to the public at ridiculous limits is an interesting way of showing your members how much you value them and their support.

They are "under promising", that's for sure.
Perhaps they'll "over deliver" in the coming weeks.

Guys, they just opened a pizza place. Of course all of these big bottles are in person. You can't order a pizza in the LC shop! I'm glad most of you are realizing that this club ain't really what it used to be. Nothing lasts forever.

This discussion will forever be useless without knowing bottle counts and number of people in La Coterie.

100 people buying 3pp at the cellar could be a fraction of LC, leading to even greater amounts of complaining if they sell it to members only when it sells out in 3 seconds with most people not getting any.

I get the disappointment in not being able to get the bottles but it makes sense that as the club grows the only beers that can be allocated to everyone are going to be the larger batches, and those are then going to be the beers that are easier to get for everyone else as well.

Plus the cost of entry discussion really only matters if you don't like sours (which many of us still do)
