3 Sheeps Oktoberfest (5.5%): A Märzen from Wisconsin with flavors of rich bread, glazed caramel, toasty with some amber notes. Leans sweet.

Starting off Friday evening with some 3 Sheeps. The absolute best Marzen.

 

Yep. A fella in the Miami, FL area purchased two 1950's vintage drums from me today. Venmo then Uber picks up the gear to drop off at UPS to be packed. I do nothing. I pay no shipping. The cellar purge plan works! I will more than double my $ from what I paid 20 yrs ago.
I guess Cellaruary works in mysterious ways. Ha! Thanks @Todd !! More beer flow!

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 1/29/25. Pours a very attractive hazy yellow orange with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace, with excellent retention. 4.75

Aroma tangerine, peach, mango, passionfruit, and apricot very pleasant. 4.5

Taste follows peach, mango, tangerine, passionfruit, and apricot nicely balanced. 4.5

Mouthfeel is a little above average, not sticky or dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 8.2% it has plenty of flavor, but easy going down. 4.5

Overall this sauce is dynamite. They just keep cranking out excellent hoppy fresh beers. 4.5

Happy Friday afternoon everyone. Drinking a Victoria Vienna Lager that I picked up at the Mexican deli. Had a good super burrito that I wolfed down before I got a picture.

That's my impression of it. Drink while fresh. I usually only grab a few cans when it comes out but I've never had one in January or February. I would have though the cans would hold for several months and not show much difference. That's what makes you look forward to it when it hits these shelves though. Your memory imprint of that first one of the season!

 

What beer is that brother?

 

I can't keep beer stocked like that ATM. I will drink it all.

 

First beer since Sunday, and it's a winner. I can hope that one day they'll bring back the ESB.

 

Headed into Boston to take my daughter and her friend to the Museum of Illusions. Having a Fiddlehead draft at dinner before hand. Off work for vacation for the next week
