What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4505

Drinking a Hazy from Humble Sea called Wet Suit Tuxedo.Has a couple down under and a couple domestic hops . A nice mixture of hops. Im tasting the down under hops (Riwaka & Motueka) in finish.

 

Gnosis Agents of Doom IPA (Citra/Motueka). One of my favorite hop combos and it's well executed in this beer. Navel orange/tangerine, ripe key lime, and meyer lemon stand out in this soft, juicy, and well balanced hazy. Excellent stuff.

First go with Hop Tropical. First sips are pretty nice!

 

Drekker/Derive collab How Strange It Is NEIPA, 6.6 ABV. Pours hazy golden with a nice 3+ finger white head that left lots of lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit and citrus. Taste is orange, rind, slightly sweet, faintly bitter. Juicy mouthfeel, overall most excellent.

been almost two years since I had that one but I do remember enjoying it. We got a schilling drop two weeks ago but nothing new. I did pick up some modernism and volksgarten those two are definitely in my top 5 schilling brews. Unfortunately my proxy hasn’t been to schilling since thanksgiving so I haven’t had a new release from them in awhile.

 

Apogeon Tide, a helles lager from ForeLand. It's quite good.

 

Decided to quit hoarding and start drinking.

Back when they were 650ml. Loved Parabola and Sucaba back then they were off the charts good .. Like the current 12 oz serving bottles now for drinking ,however both are not the same in barrel or taste IMO but still good.

The best light this time of afternoon comes in at the laundry room.
Had to hang clothes out on the clothes line to dry today, dryer is broken.
Clothes line > than broken dryer. all these electronics are BS. It is a heating element, belt drive motor that turns a drum. Just give me friggin on and off.

I'm just trying to find me a pretty smile that I can get into.

 

Stuffed burritos baked and out of the oven, now on the plate. Fork & knife required .

 

Froth’s Toasted, a stout with chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and graham crackers…practically everything I don’t want in a stout, but “had” to try it at least once. It’s a little artificial, like some of Southern Tier’s Black Water series.

 

Trying this combo - Stone Imperial Stout mixed with Lindeman's Raspberry Lambic.

It actually works quite nicely - wouldn't want to do it all the time, but I'm liking it.

 

Art History/Binnys Olde Gospatric English-Style Dark Old Ale. Pumpernickel bread, toasted almond, walnut, some plum and date, roasted malt, some coffee grounds, earthy hops, slightly burnt toffee. Quite dry throughout with a nice malt complexity. I'm used to more high gravity and sweeter old ales, so this is a really interesting style of beer for me. Very enjoyable. Art History definitely knows their traditional styles.
