Hey Larry, sorry your power went out. I didn’t get a chance to respond last night. It’s been as windy as I can remember down here yesterday and today. Our lights flickered a couple of times but we never lost power. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that none of the trees around us drop branches.

 

Space Truckin', one of those songs from my youth that I'm sure contributed to the ringing in my left ear today. Well, that and the Nugent concert I saw that left me with muffled hearing for a week.

 

Well that’s shame about your dryer, but at least you have some outstanding brews in your glass!

 

Luckily it was only out a little over 3 hours. No idea why - it wasn't that windy at the time. NG never divulges the actual cause of the issue. I'm sick to death of this cold and wind even though there is nothing we can do about it. Spring is hopefully right around the corner but as you know, we've gotten major snowstorms in April before.Some notable storms from previous years ..

 

I hear you. Give me the pull out knob the clicks when turned , push it in or out to start and choose your water lever .

 

I remember those late season storms, some were the worse storms of the year.

 

I could see that working,might make it more stout than Lindemann but I bet its good

 

Totally agree! That and Uriah Heep in the Hollywood Sportatorium (FL) were much louder than Kiss, Van Halen, Nugent or Foghat, BOC etc.....cheers!!!

Actually, the Lindeman's is the dominant flavor - I would have thought the stout would prevail but it doesn't. Problem is, it goes down really easy and probably pretty easy to get shit faced

 

This is round two .. I'm enjoying this mixture. I think this one is probably a little heavier with the lambic.

Thankfully we haven't had any storms as bad as those recently. However, I'm sure it's inevitable at some point. We had a storm once in late April that was 27 inches of snow.
