Cool. I have La Sportiva mountaineering boots that are amazing.

Curious how that high-end pair of Hokas worked out for you over time?

I grabbed a mid-range pair of Hoka Speedgoats last year and they're pretty great. Super light. Pretty much reserved for race events.

But.. they're not as stable or grippy as my cheapo daily trainers... North Face Vectiv for half the price.

 

How'd those dumplings turn out? I'm thinking they're outstanding by the looks of the hard work put in by the ChickenHawk fam!

I would necessarily call this one Imperial, stepped up maybe?
A very tasty Pilsner though.
It's pushing the Mai Bock envelope, but the hops set it apart.
Very nicely balanced.
So far, one of my favorites from them. I'll definitely get it again.

They were tasty as always, my oldest complained about the cabbage ( I usually just put onion, bell pepper, and cheese in them), but I think they were on point.

 

Montauk Juicy IPA. Gotta say, this one is kind of a disappointment. It might be age — this is another one from Half Time — but there’s no date stamp on the can, so it’s possible I just don’t care for it.

Good afternoon BAdvocates. I’ve decided to permanently switch to Imagekit.io for all my hosting needs. ImgHippo really went down hill these past few weeks and Imagekit has been working great so far.

Anyways, drinking my first Battle Born Lager. This beer had been around a long time, but I just never got around to trying it. Bought a six pack last week and so far it’s ok enough.

Tecton x3 is a great shoe @tekstr1der but ai like the LaSportiva better. No plate, good foam but the fit is just... divine.
