Have a good Tuesday. Had a group interview event at aldi distribution, went well; I was informed that it's a 3 interview process and they screened 140 people for just today. No high hopes for that. Would be nice though, but 45 min commute.

Also started The House of Morgan by Ron Chernow, right on par as his others on length for a family biography. 800 pages. I got through the Pierpont Morgan era (part 1 finished), now moving onto things after 1913. Another superbly thorough historical account of Bank/Economy history.

Julia made the McCormick Greek Skillet which was delicious, used the instant pot to pressure cook the noodles through al dente. I am quite full. https://www.mccormick.com/recipes/main-dishes/greek-style-beef-skillet

This is worlds best radler no contest. Super vibrant ruby red grapefruit soda and a solid grainy malt backbone and earthy hop presence. Crisp clean refreshing. Time to get a 4 pack.

I happened to get both of those packs from a local (New England) farm-and-fish collective, and hadn't figured out how I wanted to use them. So they were fresh when delivered, but frozen since, sadly. I seriously considered using the monkfish in a chowder, for the same reason to which you alluded.

But ultimately, having prepared some amazing fish for my partner (who normally hates fish!) in the Keys back in December and using that for inspiration, I decided that going blackened with one, lemon garlic butter with the other, would give us some range - and you can't go wrong with my mashed potatoes.

Six out of six approved, and that's pretty rare in and of itself - even my wife! My littles even ate the sea bass crispy skin, which was a pleasant surprise.

    Cheers, man!

Been rock solid until now. Then I noticed when I filed my son's taxes because he had an Employer Retirement Contribution ( not last year ). His taxes state & federal went from free to over $120, to include a $ 40 surcharge to some company I don't remember ever seeing. I told him we could bail & seek a plan B, but this all gets revealed at the very end, very shitty. My son just said F it.
