We have some superb Stout weather on tap here today
Deschutes ~ The Abyss
Barrel Aged Imperial Stout - 2024 bottle 12.3% ABV
...So it has likely been around five plus years since I have last had this and am happy to report that it still delivers an overall excellent sensory experience BA

 

Home now from a nice visit at the "old folks home".

First beer from my first box of winnings in @GoOSU annual Super Bowl squares BIF. This one is from @mhksuccess. Toast from Moonlight Brewing. Thanks my friend! This beer is fantastic. I’ve not had anything like it, that I can remember. Kinda hits like an doppelbock. And for a guy who tends to drink 5% abv beers and below, this is a real treat of flavor. Thanks again for sending this my way.

Spring's Promise saison at Bold Monk in Atlanta. Great place with awesome food and beer.

 

Next up is a brand new (canned on 2/27) hazy DIPA from Autodidact: Moon Healer, hopped with Citra, Nectaron, and Peacherine. It's good now but a little green and should be really good next weekend. Cheers!
