Rainy, windy, gloomy night. Was ready to crack a Chillwave, thought this was more on the nose.
A second cousin to Carton's Regular Coffee, in the same mode, but toned down ABV. (8%, my idea of toned down ). An Imperial Coffee Cream ale.
Liking this more than the first time I tried it.
Bringing back memories of the original Stone Mocha IPA, a fave of yesteryear (okay, 2015 or so).

Good evening, BA. Pouring rain right now, which we need. Drinking Between Two Grahams from Firestone. An imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels with chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon. Cheers!

Totally unexpected, unknown find: Resurgence Brewing Nothing But Time aged in Woodford barrels (my favorite). No frills, boozy AF with massive tannic presence. I will likely buy more.

Proper Monolith BBA Imperial Stout, 10.2% ABV. Pours brownish black with a 7/16" light-brown head that left little lacing. Aroma is spice, oak, faint grape, and whiskey. Taste is rye spice, oak, then grape, slightly bitter. Decent if slightly dry mouthfeel, overall excellent.

This is a banger as I expected it to be. Dry, flavorful, and lots of bitterness, the prototypical West Coast DIPA, cheers!

Pours a murky/cloudy orange with abundant head. Smells of citrus fruit (oranges, grapefruit, perhaps some lemon/lime), amarillo hops, a hint of white pepper and pine. Taste is piney, juicy, and has loads of grapefruit bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy and velvety, well-carbed and leaves a delightful bitterness that lingers for quite some time on the finish. This is like a NEIPA and a WCIPA had a love child: look (NEIPA), taste (WCIPA), mouthfeel (NEIPA), and finish (WCIPA). Call me confused in the best of ways. Thanks @WunderLlama
