What beer are you drinking now? #4525

Revolution Anti-Hero IPA (Citra, Crystal, Centennial, Chinook). A balanced, yet hop-forward IPA with big grapefruit flesh and peel, pine resin, some cedar, floral, meyer lemon, and orange peel. Crisp and clean with a solid bitterness. Sometimes you just have to go back to the classics.

 

Today's high was 66, Friday the high is 73°, high Saturday? 31. Just another spring in Minnesnowta.

Paulaner Hefe today, it's much better than I remember!

 

Was at 2 vets today from 8am to 2. Mongo is in an oxygen chamber. Spent an exorbitant amount of money. They want to keep going but that's not happening. I've always been a bit skeptical on these diagnosis. There's always something more....

Good afternoon BA’S .Will simmer this chicken tortilla soup for 3 hours and have for dinner later.. On the back porch on a beautiful 79 degree afternoon, enjoying the OG.

 

Sorry to hear. So hard when they didn't do anything to deserve it, but I hope Mongo knows you're there to help him as much as you can.

Thanks we get a lot of mileage from an air chilled 5lb.whole chicken. This soup freezes well also, might even be better.

From a 16oz can, no date on the can.
This beer is very clear looking and a nice dark amber color. The head is just insane at 4 fingers and tan colored. The head retention is great and I am liking the lacing on the glass.
The nose has notes of malts and roasted caramel. There's a light smoke on the nose also.
Taste - The beer is malty. I get a ton of caramel in the flavor. There's a slight hint of smoke in the beer which adds to the caramel in a pleasing way.
The body is slightly bubbly. Smooth feeling. Nice depth to the feeling.
Very tasty beer and a pleasure to try. Very well made.

I don’t know if this is an “East Coast/West Coast” IPA (sure looks and tastes like an unfiltered WCIPA to me), but it definitely tastes good - nice bitterness from the pine, and some juicy citrus, with a dry mouthfeel. Sign me up!

 

Gnosis Mirror Maze "Juicy" Midwest IPA (Nelson Bliss). Passionfruit, lychee, ripe pineapple, white grape, diesel dankness, earthiness, and slight resin. Delicately balanced, crisp, and refreshing. Hope they do more beers like this one in the future.

One of our customers brought me back a beer from Spain. Montseny Eco. There was lots of carbonation, but the head fizzed away super fast!

 

Trillium Congress Street IPA, a fantastic IPA I would have never believed I'd buy fresh in Ocala, FL.
