    One of my high school track and wrestling teammates was the son of the Illinois special teams coach for football. After Lon left Illinois, there was some meet up for all the high school athletes and families. My Dad had asked him, why would Lon leave for the NBA, its not like he wasn't making a lot of money here.

    His response was...well, the next time you tell your wife you passed up a 5 million dollar raise, let me know how that goes. :slight_smile:

    That special teams coach was also the coach for the Saints and LSU, so he knows a thing or two about bouncing around, and taking a good offer. He is a really good guy, that still keeps in touch on occasion.
