That would be great Mike. I can barely use my cellphone. If I can figure out how to get on Zoom you certainly can. I’m sure @LarryV could tutor you.

@vabeerguy is one of the folks that everyone always wishes would join us on the Zoom call. Hopefully one of these days he does join us.:sunglasses:

This Kriek held up incredibly well over time.

RNG wanted to end a disappointing weekend on a high note. Wasn't planning on having this so soon, but was very much looking forward to having it. The cellar hoard suddenly makes too much sense.

Eau Rouge - Noble Beast Brewing Company - 6.5% - GABF 2024 Gold
A Solera blend of five & three year old beer aged in our oak founder. This “Burgundy of Belgian” developed wine-like characteristics through a long secondary fermentation with wild yeast & souring bacteria. Cherry pie & raspberry flavors emerged alongside a firm, yet gentle acidity. Time in medium toast oak added tannic structure & balance. If stored cool, this beer will continue to develop & improve over the course of many years. Bottle conditioned.

Has to be much different from the 2021 base I had the privilege of sampling at the festival here that year. As it is, it has quite a pleasant nose of fruit, vanilla, and barrel with a similar taste. Not overly sour; very refreshing.

Hard to actually score when you aren't used to seeing these old-school styles often, but that makes it all the more special when someone takes the time to keep them alive here of all places. At this point I am probably crazy enough to go buy another bottle or two while they are still around...

Fantastic album to close out the weekend, too.

I would be willing to do an informal Zoom meeting with anyone who just wants to figure out how to do it.

He went home from the hospital Thursday , almost 3 weeks in the hospital.
    No rehab facility (eyes roll),
Only half the family still thinks I tried to kill him
Just a coincidence I’m the new power of attorney

I had a blast last night with you fellow BA/ Zoomers, it literally is a virtual bar. Thanks again @LarryV for setting it up. I left after midnight and a bunch of you were still going strong, cheers to all the participants!

Unfettered Soul from Strange Bird by way of @TCgenny ’s porch bomb. I think they named it after him. This is really delicious Tom, thanks.

We saw this at the beach today, kind of funny.

    Kidding.

It was a really interesting red ale. Couldn't quite put my finger on it, but i would try it again in a heartbeat. Never had or even heard of Ayrampo so my input is limited

Clever Girl. An IPA brewed by Triple Crossing.

Not sure what is going on but I bought 2 four packs the other day and there is just one can left. I better check the locks on the doors. Seems someone is sneaking in and taking them. My son-in-law has a key to the house. Couldn’t be.
