    I thought it was good, but a little on the thin side. Lacks the creaminess I expect from a nitro brew.

    Their original "Dead Guy" Mai Bock style ale was my go-to draft at a local dive bar for many years, until the IPA craze hit & they replaced it with the IPA of the week. I also have not been back there for wings since.
    It wasn't a good or even real Mai Bock, but it was pretty good.

    Revisited Marcy 31st, 2025

    Clear, mid-toned amber body; dense, lively carbonation; thick and sticky head, white and long-lasting; rings and splotchy curtains of foam cling to the glass. Nice nose; pine resin and earthy spicy tones. Outstanding malty backbone reinforcing the hop kick; pine resin; heavy-duty hop bitterness; boozy undercurrent. Medium-heavy body; dense and sticky on the palate; excellent alcohol dryness.

    I've always loved the west coast styled version of this beer. This latest iteration doesn't let me down.

    Clear gold body; thin yet dense white head; sheets and rings of foam inside the glass. Malty and spicy nose; earthy herbals. Lite caramel flavor; peppery; bold hop bitterness; mild booziness. Heavy mouthfeel; lightly scratchy on the palate; sticky.

    A very nice imperial India pale ale; well-balanced.

    Loving these breweries coming out with crystal clear hoppy lower abv brews. I know most prob think all I drink are DIPAs and yes I do drink many but it's time to start morphing...
