Pork chops are out waiting on the potatoes in the air fryer. Enjoying a Hamm’s on the patio.

Another one from the Half Time beer box daughter sent. I like this one.

I noticed that the bottle cap was affixed to the label so when opened it did not go anywhere. So I was thinking (don’t do that Mike!) that maybe it was by design so the cap can be recycled with the bottle without having to gather up the components. You are getting weird Mike.

I'm getting my brew kitchen set up for a batch of Young's Dirty Dick's Bitter clone to brew tomorrow.
It's been so long since I last had one, I really don't remember what it tasted like. It should be a good late springtime offering for myself.

I picked up a 6'er of this Maximator Dopplebock today. Rockin' the Dopplebock! It's pretty good, but not my favorite D-bock. It's been quite some time since I had it last. I'd rather have Salvator or Celebrator but it will have to do. It's not bad at all, but it's not "great" either. Not quite what I remember.
It tastes a tad thin to me. I would almost consider it a "session" Dopplebock? I could easily down the entire 6pk.

Hamm's is quite affordable here as well. So is Schmidt. :beers:

I rather enjoyed that one. It's odd tasting at first, I assume the Angelica root? Definitely nowhere near my favorite Wee Heavy though. I'd put it in the herb/spice beer category.
    Different brews for different dudes.
I just grabbed a single of their Dopplebock today, as it was the last single on the shelf and looked like it needed a friend.
That's the only reason I commented.
Hopefully your next beer will be more enjoyable. Cheers!

...we're both retired, Social Security for both of us, military retirement for me, state public employee retirement for the Mrs., and we're now starting to reap some benefits from investments...we still get somewhat hammered with estimated taxes for Federal stuff, but it's not like we have a hardship with paying that stuff off...still, this time of year is very conducive to 'promoting' big beer drinking (with auxiliary vices)...

I have a gas powered chainsaw, but I bought an electric one and I love it. Works great and easy to start - I haven't used my gas one since. As log as you're not intending to cut down trees it would probably be fine. Cheers!

Yep. 50:1 fuel chainsaws are high maint. Go with electric or even a little charging one. There are some nice ones for "residential" use or small jobs that are lower maint and are safer. :beers:
