Gnosis Shiftshaper: Motueka DIPA. Huge lime zest and key lime juice, big earthiness, some yellow grapefruit flesh and peel, meyer lemon, slight dank, some mint, some spruce. Soft, dry, a nice bitterness, and very delicious. An excellent showcase of one of my favorite hops.

One of my favorite Zeppelin songs. Bonham goes off on this one and that guitar solo from Page is real nice.

It's been a long while since I had Boulevard Tank 7. For a higher gravity brew the feel is so light and refreshing, definitely stands the test of time. Looking forward to the rest of the sixer!

Royal Docks Good Grief Peanut Butter Stout - Nice, easy drinker. Fairly subtle on the PB and even more on the coffee.



Everybody Needs A Sugar Daddy - So I enjoy this, and this might speak to my lack of taste. Always love a good white stout, a style that exists relatively well here. Anyway, this one is a good caramel, sort of salty flavor. It feels like the candy and all the tasting notes hit.

Anyway, I had to post because company was going to try the ESB on the menu but they sold it off like it was a bitter bomb. Now, I have not had enough ESBs but I'm like, no, they're pretty tame and had a bit of an out of body experience. Wouldn't rate the intelligence quotient too highly, but that one is hitting me weirdly on an otherwise frustrating day off.

Yard work done. Time for my reward. A very nice Hefe from Schilling Beer Co. Those guys are awesome! It is Masters weekend in Augusta, so I couldn't let the weekend get by without the proverbial shot of the azaleas in the background. They are in full bloom. Cheers all!

It’s really nasty today: a cold rain and windy. We took Chambo for a rather unpleasant walk at the disc park. I’m now cleaning up my basement bar a/k/a MacMalt’s Elbow Room with a can of All Green Everything while contemplating dinner. I’m thinking sausage calzone. Cheers!
