1) BlackStack Loud Pack (8.3% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Citra, El Dorado, Mosaic, and Galaxy for flavors of sweet orange, papaya, melon, and mango
versus
2) BlackStack KPIs (8.3% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with HBC 602, Nectaron for flavors of lemon, bright pineapple, grapefruit, white grape, and mango.
(Correctly matched the two blind)

BlackStack DIPA Battle. First is Loud Pack, a double version of their flagship 755 and dry-hopped. Big sweet, and a fresh release for 4/20 every year. Lots of orange, sweet grape, melon, and mango. Juicy, but also leans sweet and heavy, but also some good flavors here.
Next is KPI's A TDH IPA with some HBC 602 and Nectaron to give it flavors of grapefruit zest, and white grape, sort of New Zealand flavors. This is outstanding and still one of the best BlackStack DIPAs I've had to date.
BlackStack is killing the NEIPA game in Minnesota and at the top. A couple of bangers, but would like to see this KPIs back again.
Winner: BlackStack KPIs

First cut of the year with this

 

Right along here ba and back on this. Four, 4th anniversary dipa, sand city. Hop forward, w/ a soft and creamy feel. Subtle notes of grape, melon, and mango. Smooth as all hell with very little bite and somehow hides the 12% abv so well,

 

I was going to go to 3 Sheeps Brewing today for the tailgate with NFL Hall of Fame Green Bay Packers safety, LeRoy Butler, but I have too many delicious beers in my refrigerator from BAs like you!

Finished the yard work and washing, waxing, & cleaning out the MiL PT Cruiser. A beautiful 85°F day here in N.GA. WBAYDN? Nothing fancy, just straight up cold, refreshing Norweigian style wheat ale from Akademia. This beer has just a slight tarness to it that hits the spot. Cheers!

 

I see what you did there!

 

This is a WCIPA that I will buy again if I see it when I’m in Chicago - lots of bitterness from resiny pine and a nice bit of citrus for balance, with a crushingly dry mouthfeel. This beer and this style in general is my beer nerd sweet spot. Absolutely love it.
