It's a sunny Arbor Day here in Minnesota, how about a local beer?

Fulton Hop Kingdom Hazy IPA

Appearance: Murky orange, big head.

Smell: Dank, stinky socks, some citrus.

Taste: Some sweetness, then the general hazy murky citrus yeasty mealy mouthfeel, then finishes with some citrus bitterness.

Overall: One from Fulton's hop kingdom mix pack, this is my least favorite. Many hazy IPAs just have an indistinct flavor and unappealing feel to me, and this one is in that bucket.

Appropriate for the day:

 

Took a half day. Didn’t sleep much due to the crazy Blues throttling of the Jets, the dog needing to go out in the night, and waking early to reminisce about the game. Moody Tongue Cherry Oud Bruin on draft.

 

Drekker Chonk Dark Cherry Sundae Sour, 6.6% ABV. Pours very dark red with a few pink bubbles that left puree residue. Aroma is cherry, lactose, and chocolate. Taste follows, quite sweet, slightly tart. Decent creamy mouthfeel, overall most excellent.
