Enjoyed a really nice Maibock from the Black Abbey while enjoying lunch at The GOAT in Pigeon Forge, TN. Da Boss had a solid GOAT House Lager brewed by Iron Forge.
We checked out Kuwohi Observatory Tower (formerly Clingman’s Dome) at the GSMNP mid-morning. Light rain and 38 degrees at the 6600 level.

Long day BAs…prepped and put 1 RV and 2 vehicles into storage, and packed the new RV for summer long travel. First beer today - Mortalis’ Sorcery of the Stars DIPA:



I bought several pricy singles of this hazy lite from the bar because I like it so much.

Hot and humid today. Heat/sun really wore my old shit out. Can’t wait to get outta Florida…Cheers y’all!

Nice day for a West Town Brown from MidWest Coast.

 

Very respectable. My preference as well. You are fortunate because I cannot find it within 6-8 weeks fresh usually.

 

Revolution Anti-Hero IPA (6.7% canned 3/3/2025): An American IPA from Chicago with flavors of grapefruit, orange, apricot, and tangerine marmalade.

One of the best American IPAs out there. The perfect combo of OG hop flavors with a malty and bitterness balance. I'm going to start picking this up regularly when I can find it this fresh. Amazing IPA. If you live in Chicago, you know.

 

Made our way down US441/US19 and landed near Bryson City, NC at the south end of GSMNP for an easier loop hike at the Deep Creek campground. Three lovely waterfalls dotted the loop with stunning flora. The Flame Azelea stood out nicely.
Back at the resort and enjoying a Golden Ale infused with coffee and lactose from Edmund’s Oast in Charleston, SC. Definitely a different one but well done!

Found on the shelf at Albertson's and did not hesitate. This may be my new favorite 4.9 ABV "Light" IPA beer. The amount of hop it has amazed me and right now on #2 and Ima likin it.
Let The Guitar Play...when's the last time you heard guitar licks like that?

 

This one is really impressive. Kettlehead normally mixes a few different beers with this one. Not sure what two they used, but bravo.
