This week's 2nd holiday weekend emotional sunset piece is dedicated to @mschrei. We are here for you, my friend.

 

The big nasty loaded fries and the Bavarian pretzel. The mustard is better than the beer cheese frfr.


Natty Greenes newzilla saison. Aromas of peach, pear, banana, bubblegum, clove, wheat, and light honey/ floral. Taste of big banana, peach, pear, pineapple, red apple, bubblegum, peppercorn, wood, pine, clove, wheat, cracker, herbal, floral, grass, light honey, and yeast earthiness. Medium pine, herbal, woody bitterness and yeast spiciness on finish. Light yeast tang/tartness. Medium carb and body. Balanced bready grainy malt and sticky resinous hop mouthfeel. Lingering crisp resin dryness with minimal hop astringency. Tastes a lot like achouffe yeast, tons of phenolic complexity. Never had newzilla hops but they make a great hoppy saison. 4/5

It's the Gozney Roccbox. I bought in the summer of covid, 2020 - so 5 year later still running strong. Cant go wrong with either and Ooni or Gozney.

 

#2, Guinness nitro poured into a New Belgium chalice. Worlds are colliding!!!

 

I have an Ooni pellet oven and love it. There is a definite learning curve with all of them and it looks like you nailed it, cheers!

6 month old Heady and it tastes as good as ever


We went for a ride around the outer Cape coastal roads this morning with my wife at the wheel. She likes to drive her little hot rod kind of fast

 

It’s raining occasionally, but I got a fire going so it’s all good. Second Fiddle from Fiddlehead, one of my favorites. Cheers!

 

Looking good. Little Necks are my favorite. I recently had some Middle Necks and they were pretty good too.

 

Got some new Heady today courtesy of my friend at the store. Dated March so this beer is still stellar. And again glass it is.
