I love historic stuff! Doyle's Cafe also had a booth that JFK used to sit at before they closed. There was a lot of history at that place, sad that it ended up closing. There are plans to revive Doyle's though so that's a positive development.

Back when Tremont Brewing (Chris Lohring of Notch) existed, they used to have a tour of old breweries in the Jamaican Plains area (Lost Brewery Tour) and it would terminate for food and beers at Doyle's. I really miss that - I went on it for the two years that they did it.

Struck out 13 batters.

Didn’t walk anybody.

Finished with only 94 pitches.

As a former Monte Carlo owner (I’ll never love a car again like I loved that ‘86), I never regained interest in NASCAR after Dale Sr. died. Perhaps I should try again. It’s like abandoning F1 when Jackie Stewart retired (though I did watch Wide World of Sports when he was the color analyst).

 

As a member of the Michigan Board of Tourism, I figured it was your duty to visit Comerica Park every three years and report your findings.
