Next up is Dragon's Milk Triple Mash - a stout aged for a year in bourbon. 18.7% ABV. Cheers!

Top of the charts as far as West Coast Pilsners is concerned IMO, right up there with Reality Czech. I would love to get my grubby hands on some Pfriem Pilsner to compare.

Phantom in cans? Nice. Was that part of a variety pack?

Another gold medal winning “Skidder” brown ale as the second band breaks down:

The best brown ale I’ve ever had…balanced roasted malt with a tinge of toasted nuttiness…world class imo. Grateful and fortunate to stumble onto this beer.

Out to the camper as the taproom winds down for the night…cheers and good night y’all!

I will be there this coming week. It’s a quick 3 days. We have a few things penciled in but open to interesting non tourist and any good beers. I think Terra Firma is on the list, need to see how they brew off the grid.

    Enjoy

Tigers sealing the deal. Amazing start to the season.

Moving on to a KBS Double Oaked. Bottled 9/24/24. Didn't love this super fresh but at this point the oak blends nicely with the rest of the beer. Think this will be a well balanced

I was a Skywalker fan as well Russ. I caught KOA Denver with my little clock radio in late 70s early 80s. Al Albert was the man! :beers:

Jolly Pumpkin is great. My favorite spot in Traverse is Right Brain. Imperial CEO Stout is legit and they usually have some great brewery only taps flowing. Good indoor space with activities as well.

Would skip North Peak and prioritize some of the smaller breweries/brew pubs - Rare Bird, The Workshop. Could definitely spend a few days hitting up all the good beer spots.

Closer for tonight. Since I thought today was Thursday and had a list of Friday to do I need to get Friday done Saturday morning. Wish me luck.

This might be my favorite beer, fresh and aged it just has that something so right.

Heard this composer the other week, pretty cool stuff

    Enjoy
