    A rare rain-out for golf. Which is OK, since we've had a total rainfall of about half an inch of rain sinc January 1. So I am getting caught up with Court TV's coverage of the Lori Daybell and Karen Read trials.
    I had to buy this beer since we used to have a golden retriever named Sasha. Pretty good beer,

    look: 3.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 3 | feel: 3 | overall: 3.75

    The can arrived leaking, so had maybe 1/2 to 2/3 of a can to pour. The color is a murky brown and visually opaque in the glass; some initial carbonation, very loose and bubbly and soon faded to nothing. The smell is incredibly rich and sweet, infused with notes of dark chocolate and brownies. Odd taste; faint notes of dark malts; very bitter, almost acrid. Medium-light mouthfeel but also flat, watery mouthfeel; very dry finish.

    First off, the can I received had a leak, so I'm sure a lot of the CO2 was lost and likely greatly affected the looks and mouthfeel. That said, I scored the Look, Smell, Taste and Feel as I perceived them but also bumped up my overall impression score simply because I wouldn't consider this a proper sample to judge a beer by yet wanted to imply some sort of 'likelihood' of what this beer might actually be like. Perhaps someday I'll get another chance at this beer and give it more of a realistic tasting.

    Machine House focuses exclusively on English styles, and when on draft they are only available on cask. Their cans / bottles tend to be pretty low on carbonation right from the outset.
