Phase Three Minutiae BA Imperial Stout. Aged in Elijah Craig, Wild Turkey, Willett, and 15-year George Dickel bourbon barrels for between 21 and 40 months. P3’s barrel program is super strong. Dark chocolate, cocoa powder, tobacco, boxed raisin, prune, oak, bourbon spirit, vanillin, caramel, some licorice, some peat. Outstanding complexity, barrel integration, and blend. Well done.

Great Notion Double Stack Imperial Stout (coffee/maple syrup). My favorite adjunct combo in a stout and this one is executed very well. The obvious coffee and maple, which is strong, along with milk and dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and roasted malt. Delicious.

 

3 mile walk, $2 pints Tuesday was called off today. Walking partner has family in town. Hit the gym earlier and also got a walk in on my own. Radicle Effect Brewerks "Oh, Me So Honey" Kolsch. Cheers!

Enjoying a 13 Stripes Brewing Porter. Roastier than normal for the style but the flavor is solid for my palate.
