    I can't figure things with the Trillium beers I've had of late. They look great, generally have a great smell, but the taste seems pretty much the same regardless of the name. This beer follows along these lines. It certainly isn't bad per se, just a rather sharp and harsh bitterness with a lightly sweet and acidic citrus flavor offset with a low-key oat-like cereal grain backbone. Well, I'm glad to have tried this one (and the others I picked up a few days ago), but these are essentially one-and-done beers for me.

    Working thru the haul the wife brought back from California for me. It’s getting pretty low. No worries…we have a family trip in two weeks to spend time in Emigrant Gap at an old railway lodge. We’re going to be moving around a lot. A day in Sacramento, a day around Lake Tahoe and a day at Bodega Bay. I hope to spend some time on a stool at Russian River on that jaunt.
