Been listening to some Medeski Martin & Wood...their first album Notes From the Underground is amazing. As is the rest of their discography, but man this is one great album.

 

Up the road to a dive bar I like, Loose Cannon...with Brash EZ7 Pale Ale.

I'm not big on fruit beers but when someone sends you one to try, you gotta give it a spin. Good People Brewing (AL) Blueberry Wheat Ale. Checks in at 4.5% ABV. I got to admit, I don't hate it. This is prettt good. Smells a little like a blueberry poptart. Nice little brewery over in Bama. Cheers!

We have a really good Lebanese restaurant a couple blocks from our home. They make a mean chicken shawarma sandwich. I’ve paired it with Identity Crisis, DIPA, from nearby Double Tap Brewing. I can’t get enough of this ale. Big, ripe cantaloupe and 9.5%. An excellent local. Cheers!

Yard crap done for this week in the 103 heat, Lag's Hazicuz Maximus "hazy" IPA, it's kinda sweet, weedy tasting, 9.0%.
