Beer # 2 - another fall'ish brew on this damp cool day - quite the change from the low 90's and high humidity this week....I will take this!

New this year - Schlafly Vanilla Pumpkin - quite nice!

 

Made a quickie lil' beer run. An employee struck up a conv and gave me a sample can of Venn Choconut, which I just added to the database along w a pic. 12%. I'm stoked! And I'd love to chat more with the gal who appreciates my patronage at the store. @Beersnake I got more Central Waters today however the Backwoods Bastard stash there is unchanged. @AdmiralOzone the CW Brewer's Reserve stash there is lighter now Thank you very much...

Westbound & Down Scenic Route Easygoing WC IPA (Mosaic, Idaho 7, Strata). At 5%, this drinks more like 6% with a nice hop character and a firm bitterness. Crisp and clean with notes of blueberry, ruby red grapefruit flesh and peel, floral, herbaceous dankness, earthiness, and resin. I can see why this won bronze at WBC for Session IPA. These guys just don't miss.

 

Amazing sauce.
