I am a runner, but I cannot fathom this level of discipline and commitment! I admire you both!

 

After a wretched day of measuring T-posts for another makeshift fence option to keep the pretty deer from eating every God-blessed fruit and nut tree I’m trying to grow, and getting stung multiple times from some tiny ground wasps or yellow jackets after breaking up a rock near their nest, and a couple Genny Ruby Red Kolsches*, the last of my 3 Sons BA score: 2025 Big Sxxxy vanilla. I liked the regular very much and this one really amps up the smoothness and creaminess. Only one more after this one, but what a treat.




*Opinions elsewhere indicate Genny’s might not really be a Kolsch. I don’t care. They’re low ABV and quenching while I’m pouring sweat.

 

Toppling Goliath DDH King Sue DIPA (Citra). I detect a bit of oxidation and it shows with the slightly darker appearance. I still get orange sherbet, orange and grapefruit peel, tangelo, passionfruit, mango, pine resin, hop spice. Some hop burn, but it isn't too bad. Still enjoyable, but not at the pedigree I'm accustomed to for this one.

 

Tree House Doppelganger DIPA is really great but I'm ready for a BCBS or something dark. I'll turn the A/C down to 76 and see what happens. Have a great, safe Saturday night y'all!!

 

Since we discovered Junior is a talented cook, I haven’t had a lot of chances to cook, so had some fun making dinner for my brother and I tonight.

Grilled salmon with bourbon maple sauce, pan seared scallops, and spinach soufflé.

 

funny, my technician at work, his friend went to Vermont last weekend and picked me up some goodies. Gotta love the staff, I gave his friend a mix four of TH with a promise a few more later this summer.

At Tontitown Winery knocking back some Bentonville Brewing beers watching our friends neighbors Band, the Mountain Gypsies play Bluegrass slanted Rock and Country tunes. The Fiddler is 15, we've been watching her few years, great voice as well.
