    The “problem” with yellow beers is that I find them generally unfilling and easy to kick back, whereas a stout or barleywine sort of forces a slower enjoyment rate. I say that as the Resin is gone, so now I will decide to close with my last Resin or a 12-year Ola Dubh.

    ...a lousy Windows laptop day...mega BSOD errors...long story short: sending the laptop back for a second time to Dell Depot Maintenance...thank goodness for my backup Ubuntu laptop...

    ...was going to drink heavily this evening because of this, but instead, will just finish one of my previously opened bottles of Hair of The Dog's 'Don'...so, one-and-done for today...

    It is a delicious brew overall and packs a ton of flavor at 4.5. I just drank 5 of them to be sure. Easy fridge staple. There is a bit of a spicy finish. Would you hold it against me if I preferred a Hamm's to this?

    Central Waters Peach Brandy Barrel Aged Barleywine. An English Style Barleywine age with honey in used Peach Brandy Barrels. Only in Wisconsin, BAs :grin:. No age statement on the can, but I believe this is about 2017 vintage. Thanks for the share, @cheeseheadinMinneapolis – I’ve only had this once before and loved it, and this one is even better! :beers:
