Howdy BAs! I'm taking a couple days off work. Doing my best retiree impression. Lost some PTO last year and not letting that happen this year! Yardwork finished. Enjoying a König Pilsener. Very refreshing. Cheers!

Dogfish Head 30 Minute IPA

 

Cold pilsner goes fast. I gotta hand it to Samuel Adams, they make a consistently good, drinkable Octoberfest beer. Some may not think so but it is an easy choice for me if I don't want to think too much.

This glass, not sure if I like it or not. Looka weird but handles nicely. It does enhance the ability to evaluate aroma. I should try it with some other beer types. Best time of year for beer IMHO. Prost!

One more on the Hampton pool deck then off to Carrabba's for food.....Tropicalia. Oh, and happy national IPA day BA's!

 

We have a Carrabba's less than fives miles from us. My wife and I eat there all the time. Foods pretty good. They just need more beer variety! Cheers!

I am having The Bruery's Chocolate Dynasty which weighs in at 23.1% abv. Acquired a bottle while volunteering at the now defunct Eighth State Brewing's (Greenville, SC) festival last July.
I am not sure how long this rested in the three different barrels but i am in admiration of The Bruery's barrel team handling of this brew making it an incredibly approachable sipper. The cocoa nibs and vanilla beans additions were deftly added and work harmoniously with the barreled beer to leave a near perfect taste experience. Overall rated 4.44.
Listening to the SXM top 1000 classic rock station.
