Country Boy Shotgun Wedding vanilla brown ale

 

Phase Three P3 Czech-Style Pilsner. It's amazing how much taste is packed in this 5.2% beer. Most excellent! Thank you my friend @brewskis . I'll have to look for this when I'm in Chicago in a few weeks.

Anyhow, left work early to hit up Port City for a release of Derecho Common, which they renamed Derecho Lager for some reason. I had confirmed a year or two ago that the recipe/technique is the same… sorta.

Power outage killed the refrigeration for a Bohemian Pilsner being lagered, so adjustments were made and a “Common” was born in 2012, and was unexpectedly good.

Today’s pour is damn tasty, too. The half pour of Essential Haze (a newer offering) was the surprise of the day, however.


Oh! And the cans I bought of this are dated 7/26 - well within 2 months, for sure.

It appears the other two breweries pulled out leaving 3 Sheeps no option. I need a beer!
Hopefully a teenage ICE squad doesn't show up to hunt down and imprison this previously undocumented Italian Pilsner from Junkyard. Last can and I'll buy this one again for sure. Very enjoyable and friendly. Ciao Ciao!!
