    Hi gang! We're at one heck of a watering hole here :beers: My lawn is yelling at me. I've lowered the machines a notch down, lubed all zerts and filled the angle bearing on the trimmer. Hefty Hefty Hefty. Super wet all summer with rain on the horizon creates this short window of time where I can shave the yard closer than usual. It'll take longer which means I'll be able to chug-a-lug, tip over, and enjoy a pail or two of beers. Starting with D A B as it has a good note of pastry dough in the taste & palate. Kind of "breakfasty". Cheers!

    our beach at 5pm yesterday: fast and furious storm blew in for an hour. At 7pm we were back on the beach with our dog ripping around and having a ball.

    Actually, the can says brewed by Heater Allen but it's listed under Gold Dot. Kind of confusing.

    Light chill haze with a pale yellow hue; dense, lively streaming carbonation; thick head, white and long-lasting, semi-creamy texture on top. Beautiful bouquet of biscuit with fragrant floral undertones. Delicate flavors; light berry with a touch of white grape; well-balanced hop bitterness, moderate presence overall. Light bodied; crisp with a lingering dry finish.

    One of the owners of Weber Street Liquor is a fan of Ratio's 'King of Carrot Flowers', so I tried that one and enjoyed it plus their märzen. I figured it was time to try a good warm weather beer. This is it. Deceptively delicate yet complex across the board, this may be my new go-to pilsner year-round.

    Strung Out In Helles by Black Iris Brewery

    Starting off with what is a rather boring helles. Smells the business but absolutely nothing going on taste wise and too hazy for the style as well if we're being picky!

    I'll be sticking to their IPA's and stouts.
